LOCATION OF POSITION:

MDH, Laboratory Services, Baltimore, MD


POSITION DUTIES:

This position leads, assigns, reviews and approves the shipment of all testing kits and test request components for human, animal and environmental specimen transport to allow the Laboratories Administration to carry out its continuing mission of preserving the health and well-being of Maryland citizens.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.


Experience:
Two years of experience performing clerical duties.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (including Docs and Calendar)
  • Experience providing customer service to provide support to all internal and external customers
  • Leadership skills to include organizing work, training staff, analyzing inquiries and developing new strategies and procedures
