    Job Description

    We are looking for a talented Testing Engineer to become part of our quickly expanding team. As a testing engineer, you will play a key role in orchestrating and carrying out all projects at the turbo testing facility. This position involves direct communication with clients and internal staff to fulfill customer testing needs. It also encompasses technical and financial accountabilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise customer testing requirements to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
    • Design and develop mechanical and electrical system components and services to meet customer testing needs.
    • Create detailed customer quotations covering all testing aspects of the project.
    • Keep customers informed of test schedule progress, changes, and commercial updates promptly and efficiently.
    • Develop project plans using tools like MS Project to track project timelines and critical processes.
    • Oversee project phases across manufacturing, laboratory, quality control, etc., to optimize project schedules.
    • Identify technical risks and devise plans to address them to meet schedule and testing requirements.
    • Procure essential parts and equipment by creating purchase requisitions for each project as necessary.
    • Maintain a weekly tracking report on shipments and quotes in the ERP system for management review and on-time customer delivery.
    • Establish job work instructions for test technicians to ensure effective project execution.
    • Provide technical guidance on test configurations including mechanical and electrical design, controls, data systems, pneumatic and hydraulic design.
    • Develop and uphold accuracy of test procedures, data storage, and any required test data electronically.
    • Track lessons learned, budgets, and share them with team members for continual enhancement.
    • Set a positive example to foster a healthy work culture within the department and other teams.
    • Participate in and complete any necessary overtime to meet testing requirements and departmental financial targets.
    • Abide by all company regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Undertake additional tasks as delegated by Aerodyn's management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
    • 5+ years of experience in Testing, Automotive, or a similar industry
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be self-motivated and capable of working under pressure to meet customer and management deadlines
    • Highly motivated individual comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team
    • Must exhibit professionalism in all dealings
    • Minimal travel expected (Less than 3-5%)
