- Manage Platforms (Architecture, Engineering, Administration, Security Management)
- Design, configure, maintain, troubleshoot client Platform environments
- Efficiently complete tasks with progress reporting and issue escalation
- Innovate solutions delivery processes
- Act as technical point of contact for clients
- Ensure Platforms' health, performance, tuning, and data ingestion
- Develop scripts and automation processes
- Create and document procedures for SOC staff and internal teams
- Implement network and security rules across Platforms
- Integrate with ServiceNow
- Monitor new content impact on Platforms
- Collaborate with application owners for logging and policy standards
- Maintain Cyber Security Engineering requirements
- Strong communication skills for interactions with varied audiences
- Experience with Enterprise or Cloud Platform technologies
- Ability to work across multiple systems and pass background checks
- Comfortable with non-business hours if necessary
- Must be a US Citizen
- Industry certifications: VMware, CompTIA Linux+, Cloud Certifications
- 8 years of Linux Engineering, 5 years in team environments

**FULLY REMOTE POSITION - US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED**
Candidate Description:
This is a Platform Engineer role requiring hands-on experience with VMware, Dell Hardware, Ubuntu, AWS Workspaces, and other technologies from both engineering and content development perspectives.
Preferably holds CompTIA Linux+ certification or equivalent, with additional VMware or Linux certifications as a bonus.
This role supports a government client's Customers and Security Operations Center (SOC) remotely, especially outside regular business hours.
Selected candidates must be 18+ US Citizens passing necessary background checks and security training.
