- Master's degree in accounting or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- At least 3 years of experience in an Assistant Controller role
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in leading and managing teams
- Proven experience in leading internal audits and understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated experience in implementing significant changes within the finance department of a dynamic organization.
- Cannot be listed on any state or federal exclusions lists
- Previous experience as a Director of Finance and/or Treasury, with a track record of strategic financial management, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships.
- Strong background in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Experience with financial systems implementations, such as Oracle Cloud, and proficiency in financial software like Prophix.

Job DescriptionDescription:Mountain Land Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Full-Time Corporate Controller to join our Finance Department in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. This is a great opportunity to lead a healthcare finance team towards achieving organizational goals, enhancing financial procedures, and ensuring financial integrity and compliance.
Mountain Land is a dynamic organization with private equity partners, currently undergoing significant transformations within our finance department. You will be a key component in navigating the finance team through sufficient growth and restructuring efforts. With mentorship from Mountain Land's Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, treasury and tax functions, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. You will also assist with change management of the Finance Department and will be looked at as the leader of the department during change.
