- Oversee the company's accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of year-end and quarterly financial statements both for the Board and external investors and creditors.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Operations, Sales, HR, R&D, Marketing, IT and IS to gather data and insights for strategic financial planning.**
- Support the design and implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with existing financial processes.
- Evolve and change existing processes to ensure a more streamlined process flow.
- Champion and lead continuous process improvement initiatives within the accounting department.
- Evaluate and optimize financial workflows and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Collaborate with senior management to support strategic financial decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role in a technology company.
- Multi-year public company audit experience, preferably with a Big Four firm
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP principles and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Sit/stand at a desk for prolonged periods, primarily sedentary work

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, driven, and results-oriented Corporate Controller to oversee all aspects of accounting, internal and external financial reporting, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP accounting and reporting, possess excellent leadership and communication skills, and have the ability to support the design and implementation of a new ERP system. Moreover, a key aspect of this role is driving continuous process improvement initiatives.
