Description

Retail Merchandiser ensures store shelves and cold boxes/coolers are stocked with fresh products, builds displays to draw attention to products, and by provides exceptional service to retail clients.

This position is designed to be an entry level position for those wishing to enter the alcohol beverage industry in any capacity.

• Supports the Delivery Team as needed to ensure appropriate inventory levels and storage.
• Maintains fresh products by rotating, reorganizing, and refilling back stocks, cold boxes/coolers, and shelves.
• Builds displays and executes placement of point of sale and other merchandising items.
• Refreshes temporary point of sale at assigned accounts as new programs warrant.
• Keeps backrooms and inventory areas clean and organized.
• Completes inventory recording tasks and provides feedback to Account Manager.
• Maintains a professional rapport and image with store personnel and customers.
• Adheres to all Iowa Beverage internal business principles and employee standards.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a current valid Iowa Driver's License.
• Must be comfortable engaging and speaking with store personnel and customers.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess effective communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.

• Must be able to pull/push a grocery cart while carrying a load of up to 175 lbs.
• Must be able to lift/carry various products ranging from 1060 lbs., without mechanical assistance.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must tolerate working in an environment with inside/outside ambient/extreme temperatures.
