Position Overview:

Do you like uncovering hidden value in discarded items? We are seeking a highly motivated eCommerce Specialist to join our team onsite in Palo Alto.

As an eCommerce Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, testing, and marketing a wide range of electronics to sell on our various e-commerce platforms.

You will learn an incredible amount about different both electronics and marketing, all while contributing to the circular economy.

Key Responsibilities:

Item Identification: Identify electronics suitable for resale from the items collected for recycling.
Prepping for Resale: Clean, test, and refurbish electronics as necessary to ensure they meet quality standards for resale.
Platform Selection: Determine the most appropriate ecommerce platforms (e.g., eBay, Amazon, etc.) for listing based on factors such as item type, condition, market demand, ability to ship, etc.
Listing Creation: Create compelling listings including pricing, titles, descriptions, product specs, and highquality photos to attract potential buyers.
Posting Management: Post listings on selected ecommerce platforms, ensuring accuracy and optimization for search visibility.
Additional duties may include sales monitoring, customer service, and packaging/shipping.
Follow all safety rules for warehouse including wearing of PPE steel toe shoes, safety vest, gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection when appropriate.

Qualifications:

Enthusiastic hard worker with diligent attention to detail and ability to accurately describe product features and condition.
Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
Ability to work with a variety of computer and software systems.
Must have physical strength, balance, handeye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day.
Previous experience with buying or selling on ecommerce platforms, particularly eBay, is a plus.
Strong knowledge of electronic products, including computers, smartphones, home appliances, and consumer electronics is a plus.
