Roles & ResponsibilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Project Engineer's key responsibilities are:
To assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure proposals and project accuracy and quality.
Work with multiple discipline proposals, projects and demonstrate excellent project management skills.
Demonstrate excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Collaborate with cost and schedule engineer for schedule estimates, progress monitoring and reporting, cost forecast, resource loading and planning.
Interface with vendors/suppliers for budgetary quotes, vendor design deliverables including reviews and final approvals by client.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of related experience in project development and engineering, consulting, FEED/EPC preferably in Energy industry.
Possesses a demonstrated proficiency in project engineering.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Working knowledge of MS PROJECT / Primavera Project Management (P6) is preferred.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must also possess effective interpersonal skills.
Must consistently demonstrate strong analytical skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized and self-motivated.
Can efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while working on multiple proposals and projects and meeting tight deadlines.
Possess good project background and technical writing ability and skills.
Proactive & resourceful and hands-on with good initiative.
Independent contributor who can work well with minimal supervision.
