    Description

    EVONA are working with a pioneering aerospace company dedicated to pushing the boundaries of speed and efficiency in air travel. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies and innovative engineering solutions, they are committed to revolutionizing the future of transportation.

    They are looking for a Principal Structures Engineer to be responsible for the development, design, analysis, test, and lifecycle of the airframe and its components on their aircraft.

    Job Description:

    • Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of airframe structures for high speed aircraft
    • Develop and analyze airframe structural concepts, materials, and manufacturing methods
    • Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure the airframe design meets performance and safety requirements
    • Conduct trade studies and make recommendations for material selection and structural configuration based on performance, weight, and cost
    • Develop and implement structural testing plans, including static, dynamic, and fatigue testing
    • Analyze and interpret test results and provide recommendations for design improvements
    • Hold design reviews and provide technical guidance and recommendations to other team members

    Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
    • 8+ years of experience in airframe structural design, analysis, and optimization for aircraft or spacecraft
    • Experience with CAD software(NX), FEA (Nastran and Femap) and other engineering analysis tools
    • Familiarity with metallic high strength alloys and manufacturing techniques
    • Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, structures, and systems
