- Performing monthly analytics to explain actual vs. projected expenses
- Assisting departments to model out projected expenses
- Completing monthly payments and accrual entries
- Providing quality and timely technical support work for departments within the organization
- Handling general ledger analysis, queries and related needs
- Assisting on ad hoc projects and analysis as needed
- Assisting with annual sales territory planning
- Completing key performance indicator (KPI) reports
- Assisting with review of department cost center allocations
- Providing technical support for the budget system
- Assisting with budget and expense reforecasts
- Assisting with monthly 'actual vs. budget' variance analysis
- Providing technical assistance for headcount reporting
- Ability to manipulate and cleanse data in Excel
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Knowledge of accounting/ERP software, including NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics Suite, and QuickBooks
- Knowledge of reporting systems, including with OneStream, Hyperion, Adaptive Planning preferred
- Experience working in a paperless environment strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to work autonomously with little direction
- Good work ethic and displays a can do type of attitude

Financial Analyst - Hybrid Schedule in the Durham, NC areaAs a Financial Analyst, you will act as a key resource on all aspects of annual budgeting. You will ensure that all department budget information reports are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for articulating all deviations to the annual budget to Management and the Budget Review Committee. You will assist with the integration of budget information into the accounting system and perform analysis for fiscal operations as necessary, including cash management, payroll, rent, investments, etc.
