The Team


We are seeking an Insurance Analyst to join American Tower's Corporate Finance Organization's Global Risk and Insurance Management ("GRIM") team.

Reporting to the Director of Insurance, the Analyst will play a crucial role by helping the execute global and local insurance programs and risk management functions.

This role is ideal for someone with a foundational background in insurance, risk management, and/or finance who is seeking to deepen their expertise in a dynamic, global environment.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Up to three (3) years of insurance, risk management, or finance experience or equivalent coursework.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally if needed.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fastpaced environment.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Assist with renewing international and domestic insurance policies and contribute to managing specific insurance programs.
  • Assist with collecting and reviewing underwriting information and support analysis of data for insurance negotiations and policy accuracy.
  • Assist with evaluating general liability, workers compensation, and auto claims; consult with internal and external legal counsel, insurers and thirdparty administrators on claims; and help prepare open claims reports.
  • Support the review of contractual risks and insurance needs. Help maintain and develop insurance reporting procedures and systems.
  • Facilitate communication with various stakeholders including site teams, brokers, and insurance carriers.
  • Assist with maintaining policies' documentation by organizing invoicing and creating reports and presentation materials.
  • Work closely with the team and crossfunctionally with various internal business units to ensure seamless operations and effective risk management strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
