Job Summary:


Hours
Shift 1: 6AM to Noon


Shift 2:
Noon to 6PM

Shift 3: 6PM to Midnight


Shift 4:
Midnight 6AM

Shift 5: 10PM to 6AM


  • Overnight shifts will be paid $25/hr

Duties:


  • Security Guards will secure the entry points and the facility, protect life and property, and respond to emergencies. Other responsibilities may include guest interaction, and mínimal front desk functions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Actively secure entry and all premises of the facility
  • Maintain knowledge of general safety practices and specific post functions
  • Perform all duties as directed by either a predetermined building management representative, by PPL management, or both
  • Record daily shift notes and identify for patterns in security risks
  • Security Officers must be completely familiar with the facility and any factors that might affect their operating procedures
  • Report any lost items, maintenance issues, escalated policy noncompliance, theft, fire, injury, damage or suspicious activity to Client and PPL management immediately
  • Keep all working spaces neat and orderly at all times
  • Accidents must be reported to Client and PPL management immediately
  • The use of foul or abusive language at any time, regardless of provocation, will not be tolerated
  • All grievances should be reported to PPL management as soon as possible
  • Checking guests in and out of their rooms as needed
  • Alleviating disruptions to guest experience by intervening and resolving security issues
  • Provide high quality, efficient, friendly, energetic interactions with guests
  • Maintain property literature, signage, displays, wayfinding maps, etc. and ensure
that all information is current and in good order

  • Provide support and assistance to coworkers and other departments as requested by supervisor; participate in team meetings and implementation of property projects and goals
  • Providing other assistance to property management as requested

Skills:


  • Must be able to communicate clearly
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in hotels
  • Experience in militarise, loss prevention, law enforcement, or related field
  • Proficient in conflict management
  • CPR and first aid certification preferred
  • Strong surveillance skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness

Job Types:

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week
