Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ambulance Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and dispatching resources to ensure efficient operations. Your excellent communication skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations will be essential in this role.
Duties:
- Receive and prioritize incoming calls from customers, clients, and field personnel
- Perform phone triage to assess the nature of the call and determine appropriate response
- Dispatch appropriate personnel or resources based on the nature of the call
- Negotiate with customers or clients to resolve conflicts or issues
- Communicate effectively with field personnel to provide necessary information and updates
- Transcribe detailed information accurately and efficiently
- Utilize GIS (Geographic Information System) software to track and monitor resources
- Analyze data and reports to identify trends or areas for improvement
- Provide first aid instructions over the phone when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of all calls, dispatches, and actions taken
Qualifications:

Certification from International Academy's of Emergency Dispatcher IAED:
EMD/ETC or Emergency Medical Technician EMT Valid Certification(s):
American Heart Association
- CPR Valid Certification (CPR)
MUST HAVE MIN.
ONE (1) YEAR OF AMBULANCE DISPATCHING EXPERIANCE:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with GIS software is a plus
- Ability to analyze information and make informed decisions quickly
- Conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectivelyBenefits:
