Assistant Coach for Rowing

Company:
Join our team as an Assistant Coach for Rowing at our university and help lead our Mens and Womens Rowing programs alongside the Head Coach. You will play a vital role in coaching both squads, spearheading recruitment efforts, monitoring strength training, and managing logistics.

Responsibilities:

Coaching, Training, Instruction - Act as a professional educator and role model to develop student-athletes and build a successful team.
Recruitment - Identify and recruit student-athletes with potential for academic and athletic success.
Strength & Conditioning - Supervise strength training for both Mens and Womens Rowing teams.
Academic Oversight - Mentor and monitor student-athletes' academic progress.
Compliance - Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Boathouse Maintenance - Assist in maintaining boats and coaching equipment.
Special Events - Participate in organizing and supervising special events.
Travel Assistance - Coordinate travel arrangements for rowing teams.
Administrative - Support athletes with compliance and assist with administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Minimum of two years coaching experience or high-level college rowing background.
Experience driving a trailer is a plus.
