- Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
- Prepare assigned reconciliations in a timely fashion.
- Assist with monthly closings and preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support the general account analysis and reconciliations of the Bank's correspondent bank accounts.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining appropriate internal financial controls and procedures.
- Process fixed assets transactions and wire transfers as needed.
- Respond to scheduling changes and provide department coverage as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Monitor and collect data to assess accuracy and integrity; ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP), interpret results, prepare documentation; create financial reports and/or presentations.
- Advanced application of Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent intersocial skills with internal and external clients.
- Methodical ability to solve problems.
- Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good record-keeping.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field.
- 0-2 years of recent Accounting experience.
