- Utilization review activities, as required
- Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements (i.e., suspected abuse; Tarasoff), professional boundaries and related issues.
- Other duties as assigned by Director/Administration
- Providing supervision to counseling staff as deemed appropriate, including interns.
- Conducting performance evaluations of interns or staff, as required.
- In-service training to staff and/or trainees on mental health topics, as required.
- Attending clinical and administrative committee meetings, as requested.
- Maintaining proper documentation, as necessary, of clinical supervision
- Participating in community events, presentations, meetings, and outreach on behalf of TTC
- Additional functions as specifically requested by the Clinical Director, Program Director and/or Administration.
- A Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology or social science.
- Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science as an LCSW or MFT.

POSITION SUMMARYSeeking Licensed Clinician for Outpatient Drug Treatment Program. Full-time with benefits. Exciting opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of community-based population. Duties include supervising counselors and case managers in the Outpatient team, approval of documentation, and supporting staff in management of caseload and crisis intervention. Knowledge of SAPC documentation/guidelines and experience with substance use disorders and dual diagnosis populations preferred. Must be licensed as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC. Minimum 2 years' experience preferred. This position would also be the Clinical Supervisor on 3 additional grant contracts. Full-time Position. Competitive pay and excellent benefitsResponsible for supervising counselors and case managers involved in direct patient care in our Outpatient Department. Provide direct service, including individual, couple/family or group psychotherapy, consultations, and crisis intervention. Implement the treatment philosophy of Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. (TTC). Reports to the Program Director for administrative activities, and to the Clinical Director for clinical matters, unless the immediate supervisor is a licensed mental health professional.
Salary Range
$45 - $67.50 / Hour DOE
