Description

Serve as a Business Analyst responsible for gathering and documenting requirements for projects and enhancements. This specific role is on a IT Digital team.

The preferred location of this position is for our corporate office in Neenah, WI, but we will consider a hybrid model of work from home and in the office arrangement for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consult with stakeholders to define project scope, striving to create solutions that significantly improve the quality of the stakeholder's business operations
Gather and document functional and non-functional for supported area
Partner with the technical team to ensure proper understanding and build of documented requirements
Facilitate effective meetings; resolve conflict and/or escalate when necessary
Identify the business analysis tasks as input into the Project Plan
Escalate project issues and risks as necessary along with potential solutions or recommendations
Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize issues
Recognize scope changes as they occur and identify the impact to the overall project
When required, prepare test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for Functional Testing
When required, execute system tests
Participate and provide training in User Acceptance Testing
Establish trusting and credible relationships with identified business and vendor partners
Establish trusting and credible relationships with Business Analysis team members as well as other department Supervisors
Provide methodology thought leadership
Mentor team members as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, with a minimum of 4 years of business analysis experience
Highly motivated, organized, and a self-starter
Superior oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of the SDLC, business processes, and technical aspects of software solutions.
Basic understanding of accounting concepts.

PREFERRED:
Insurance industry experience
Experience in Azure DevOps boards, backlogs and sprints.
Intermediate knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Management Studio
Agile Experience
Any business analyst certification
CSM – Certified Scrum Master or other agile certifications
CPCU or other professional insurance designations
