The Security Operations Lead will be responsible for developing and

implementing efficient security strategies to safeguard our organization's assets. You will

protect our company and maintain a secure work environment. We seek a highly skilled

individual with a deep understanding of security strategies and a proven track record in

managing security operations, managing personal private security for events and venues,

overseeing security operations in private schools, and handling corporate security. The ideal

client relationship management, and bidding for contracts.

Responsibilities:


  • Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches, and
reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.

  • Leading and managing a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, and
performance management.

  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure integration of security requirements
into business processes and projects.

  • Maintaining and updating emergency response plans, ensuring all employees know their
roles and responsibilities.

  • Fostering a culture of security awareness and training employees on security protocols
and procedures.

  • Develop and implement extensive security plans, policies, and procedures to protect
personnel, assets, and information.

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for
improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as human resources and IT, to ensure
compliance with security protocols and standards.

  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies
and security vendors, to enhance security capabilities.

  • Educate employees on security awareness, policies and procedures through training
programs and communication initiatives.

  • Stay informed about the latest security technologies, trends and regulatory
requirements and make recommendations for enhancements to the security program.


Required skills and qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in security management, law enforcement or the armed forces,
with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.

  • Indepth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other
security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in management roles within the security
industry, with a focus on personal/private security for events, school security, and

corporate security.

  • Strong expertise in developing cost models, understanding industry standards, and
establishing competitive rates for security services.

  • Proven track record in client relationship management, contract bidding, and
negotiation at a senior level.

  • Proficiency in analyzing costeffectiveness and proposing strategies to optimize security
operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and
programs.

  • Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and
safety.

  • Proficiency in security assessments, audits, and investigations at a large scale.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a
diverse security team.

  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels
of the organization.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Relevant professional certifications in security management or related areas, like
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Security Manager (CSM).

  • Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing security threats and technologies.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Training or experience in emergency response and crisis management.
  • An active security officer license in Texas is preferred.

Schedule:

  • 8hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
