Overnight Warehouse Associate - Secaucus, United States - US Pack Services LLC
Description
The
Warehouse Associate position provides support to the operations division including receiving, sorting, and loading freight into the proper location and/or trucks.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
Duties:
- Review the linehauls and routes coming into the warehouse.
- Sort and stage the freight to ensure all deliveries go with the correct drivers.
- Reconcile route sheets to ensure they match paperwork, investigate problems that may arise and address and correct any client service concerns.
- Notify the supervisor immediately of all verbal or written inquiries concerning any inhouse issues, missing freight, etc. to ensure that contractors are following proper customer procedures to avoid service issues.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds on occasion.
- Ability to use
pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucks to move freight around the warehouse. - Trailers are unloaded using forklifts.
Warehouse experience is preferred but not necessary.

Forklift Experience or
Certification preferred, but not necessary.
- Ability to work overtime if needed
Shift Days:
Monday through Friday
Shift Hours: 8pm - 4:30am (_Available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays preferred_.)
Pay Rate:
$18.00 per hour
