Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our properties.

The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of residential properties, including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations.
• Advertise and market available units to attract prospective tenants.
• Conduct thorough tenant screenings and background checks to ensure qualified applicants.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements in compliance with fair housing regulations.
• Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
• Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests for repairs or maintenance.
• Oversee rent collection process and enforce lease terms.
• Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and property performance.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and local authorities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, laws, regulations, and best practices in property management.

Experience:

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role.
• 3+ years of Appfolio experience
• Strong knowledge of property leasing practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with sales techniques for attracting tenants.
• Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations.
• Understanding of fair housing regulations and laws governing property management.
• Experience with facilities management and property maintenance.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant laws related to property management.
