The position requires graduation from high school or equivalent education. Two years of experience in school custodial work, preferably including one year in a supervisory capacity, is also required. For additional information, please contact Eden Rocha at ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Under supervision of the Principal and/or Site Administrator, the Elementary School Lead Custodian supervises and participates in the work of keeping the school plant clean and orderly; assists in evaluations; coordinates personnel assigned and does other work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
Education, Training and Experience:
Graduation from high school or equivalent educationTwo (2) years of experience in school custodial work; preferably including one (1) year in a supervisory capacity Any combination of training and experience, which would indicate possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities, listed herein.
REQUIRED LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATES A valid California driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District's vehicle insurance policy may be required.

Although new employees usually begin at the first salary step, advanced Salary step placement may be considered based on Merit system regulations vacation days per year, based on length of work year and years of service.
