Kleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for you Working within our construction management and observation/inspection services section, our Construction Services market helps to develop and maintain America's infrastructure and supply chain and is a recognized industry leader
Responsibilities:
- Inspects and monitors construction sites and the various work activities on these sites to verify adherence to standards, codes and specifications; takes action according to findings.
- Prepares daily reports documenting inspections and other relevant project information.
- Verifies lines and grades of project improvements.
- Performs quantity calculations for pay estimates.
- Performs analytical calculations such as basic earthwork, grading, and profiles.
- Performs labor compliance interviews as necessary.
- Communicates verbally and in writing with Contractor and Owner as directed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of direct knowledge of horizontal transportation projects including experience with soils, aggregate, concrete, and/or hot mix asphalt.
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school preferred with course work in transportation related courses, Construction Technology and Mathematics.
- Preferred certifications in NICET, ACI concrete, and/or ATSSA certification.
