    Description
    Senior Data Engineer (Blockchain) at XYZ Company

    Salary Range: Competitive salary with bonus and stock options

    Location: Fully remote position within the United States
    Position Type: Full-Time Employment, no contracting
    Work Authorization: Only considering US Citizens and Green Card holders
    Communication: Must possess excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills

    About the Role:
    • Collaborate with a diverse team of research scientists and engineers to enhance our software and data platforms.
    • Lead the development of data models, ETL pipelines, and data processing logic in alignment with operational data and microservices for business insights.
    • Drive proof of concepts (POCs) and oversee their transition to a production environment.
    • Tackle challenging problems involving mathematical proofs, big data processes, and leveraging blockchain, financial, and gaming metrics for research purposes.
    • Seeking individuals with a strong passion for data and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
    • Desirable background in finance, gaming/crypto gaming, blockchain, or crypto protocols.
    • Additional expertise in domains like finance, gaming, DeFi, cryptocurrency, blockchain, and smart contracts considered a plus.
    Required Experience:
    • Proficient in Python or similar languages for data handling, analysis, and communication with knowledge of libraries like pandas, object-oriented programming, and built-in functions.
    • Experience with Web3 encompassing smart contract development, blockchain data, and DeFi protocols like Uniswap.
    • Hands-on involvement with AWS Cloud services, including data engineering in server and serverless environments, data science, and analytics infrastructure. Bonus for exposure to Airflow integration.
    • Proven ability to collaborate with data scientists, machine learning professionals, and modeling teams to translate insights into practical use cases.
    • Understanding of Test-Driven Development methodologies.
    • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and pipeline architecture.
    • Preferably 5+ years of experience in data-focused roles involving ETL, SQL data querying, data modeling, analysis, and data science.
    • Demonstrates curiosity, empathy, and thrives in highly collaborative team settings.
    • Adaptable to ambiguity and thrives in uncertain conditions.
