Databricks operates at the forefront of the Data Analytics industry with a goal to assist companies in solving the most challenging global issues.


We are seeking a Business Development Representative to represent Databricks to potential customers in Central Europe, specifically in Pilsen, KS This position is ideal for a sales professional in the early stages of their career, looking to contribute to the growth of a groundbreaking enterprise software company and advance their sales career.

Reporting to the SDR manager for Central Europe, you will join a dynamic team of like-minded individuals and have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a developing regional team.

This role will be based in either Munich or Berlin.


Your role and impact:


  • Quickly develop your expertise in valuebased selling, big data, and AI
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective Databricks clients
  • Conduct research on accounts and prospects to create effective outreach campaigns and increase engagement in a diverse range of accounts
  • Collaborate with the wider sales team to develop territory strategy, generate leads, and drive adoption
  • Identify and understand client needs and effectively communicate how Databricks can meet them

What we are looking for:


  • Previous successful sales experience is preferred but not required
  • Determination to succeed, learn, and contribute to the growth of a leading enterprise software company
  • Consistent track record of exceeding expectations in previous roles
  • Active listening and effective questioning skills in both phone and inperson interactions
  • Genuine interest in big data
