    Description

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    BS in Accounting or FinanceAt Least 3-5 years Ag Accounting experienceExperience in strategic planning and executionSystem Knowledge should include high proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.

    Experience with Agtech, Grain Smart SoftwareStrong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, accounting processes, reconciling accounts.

    Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections and identify risk:
    apply sound, well-balanced reasoning to reach decisions quickly and accuratelyStrong skills in business writing and editing: strong communication skills (oral and written); communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external contactsStrong Leadership skillsDetail OrientedHR/Admin experience a plusMergers and Acquisitions experience a plus


    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    Company is looking for an experienced controller to oversee financial and accounting activities, including but not limited to corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures

    Responsibilities:


    Handle day to day financial responsibilitiesDevelop and maintain general ledgers and financial statementsBudgeting and forecastingProvide financial analysis as neededManage internal and external communication and requests for informationComply with local, state and federal reporting requirements and tax filingsWork with management to prepare the annual budgetsEnsure Payroll GL entries, A/P and A/R are processed accurately and timelyManage lender relationsProcessing monthly customer statementsMake collection calls ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
