Research Assistant (m/f/d)

are to be filled as soon as possible for a period of 3 years.

The research focus of the chair is on construction-related / technical and contractual issues related to the implementation of major projects of the federal government (especially WSV, highways, DEGES, DB AG, BImA). This includes application-oriented aspects such as collaboration in planning services, the tendering and awarding of complex construction services and services provided by freelance professionals, dealing with cost and schedule deviations, and proactive dispute avoidance. In addition, the research addresses fundamental tasks related to the digitization of processes in different planning and implementation phases of construction projects. For this purpose, an own BIM laboratory is to be established and operated, in which new innovative solutions can be realistically tested and optimized in terms of their effectiveness.
