To strengthen our surveyor team at our Hamburg location, we are looking for you as a ship inspector (m/f/d) in the field of survey/inspections as soon as possible.

Job Description

  • Conducting air pollutant measurements in containers using mobile measuring technology
  • Gas state measurements on tankers, in land tanks and industrial plants
  • Sampling of goods from containers, including dangerous goods
  • Sampling of water samples
  • Tank cleanliness inspection and sampling from tankers
Qualifications

  • Ideally completed training as a CTA, chemical laboratory assistant, a natural science degree as a chemist, biologist or similar, but suitable career changers will also be considered
  • Ideally first experience in the field of mobile measuring technology and/or sampling as well as interest in further qualification in the field of "dangerous goods"
  • Interest in participating in the creation of pollutant reports and risk assessments
  • Team player with reliable, careful work ethic, resilience and flexibility as well as willingness to work nights and weekends
  • Class B driver's license and good English skills in written and spoken form
