Rochus Mummert is the market leader among specialized healthcare recruitment agencies in Germany. Our client, the Fürstenfeldbruck Hospital, has 380 beds spread across 12 medical specialties. Every year, over 16,000 inpatients and 20,000 outpatients are treated here. The Fürstenfeldbruck Hospital is an academic teaching hospital of the LMU Munich. The town of Fürstenfeldbruck, with its population of around 40,000, is located west of Munich.

As part of the hospital's development, a geriatrics department is to be established. The goal is to eventually build up its own section.

The patients (m/f/d) primarily come from the orthopedic and trauma surgery clinics with the endoprosthetics center, the internal medicine clinics, and the neurology department.

Responsibilities:

You will play a key role in establishing the acute geriatrics department and be responsible for expanding the care structures.
You will conduct geriatric diagnostics for your department.
You will work closely with specialist internists, neurologists, intensive care physicians, and surgeons, and support them with your consultations.
You will participate in the background services of your department.

Qualifications:

You are a specialist (m/f/d) in internal medicine or neurology.
You have the additional qualification in geriatrics.
You use your communication skills and empathy to treat your patients (m/f/d) with compassion.
You qualify
