Position Summary:
If you have a passion for financial accuracy and timeliness across a global, multifaceted organization, Thermo Fisher Scientific's Accounting and Controllership function is the team for you.
What you will do:
- Function as part of an impactful team of accounting professionals, working optimally to achieve Team, Division and Group goals
- Deliver key operating and managerial data and insights to drive improvements in Working Capital (e.g. Global AR metrics, cash collections, inventory controls, etc.)
- Provide reports and data to support monthly Manager Reporting Packages
- Drive Controls improvements through Compliance reporting (e.g. Cycle Count Compliance)
- Design, develop and maintain reports, dashboards and data visualization using a variety of tools
- Ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of reporting and data deliverables
- Collects, compiles, and verifies financial information to provide management with accurate and timely information for making decisions
- Partner optimally with Business Finance and all Operational functions to understand and deliver Controllership related requirements
- Support requests from external and internal auditors as well as various groups companywide
- Support cross functional initiatives to drive Continuous Improvement in process and controls environments
- Support special projects as the need arises across
AIG Group Controllership
- Required: An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology
1+ years of accounting, reporting or relevant finance experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong Accounting/Finance acumen to ensure deliverables are fitforpurpose and meet stakeholder requirements
- Highly motivated and detail oriented individual with excellent communication, computer and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and follow through in a fastpaced, multitask environment
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of personnel
- No travel required
