Mental Health Fellowship More Information:
Purpose: The APP Psychiatry and Mental Health Fellowship is an immersive 12-month program in mental health focusing on underserved populations in a community-based setting.
It attracts APPs seeking a structured educational program to support and guide their development of proficient clinical decision making and their application of specialized skills in the care of the mentally ill patients through in-person didactics and mentored clinical experiences.
Provides specialty health care services within defined scope of practice in collaboration with a licensed psychiatrist and in accordance with MCW/FMLH policies and procedures.
The Fellowship is an academic clinical partnership between the Medical College of Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, Children\'s Hospital of Wisconsin, and University of WisconsinIt will consist of core clinical rotations in a variety of ambulatory settings and an inpatient setting, elective rotations in specialized ambulatory settings, and didactic experiences Anticipated Workweek:
Position requires flexibility with respect to clinical rotations spanning inpatient and outpatient settings.
