Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports fidelity of implementation of Pyramid Model in all classrooms and centers.
- Collaborates with the Education team to develop appropriate behavioral strategies to support
- Conducts case consultations regarding possible child MH or behavioral concerns with staff and
- Conducts classroom and centerbased child observations to assess interpersonal interactions and
- Discusses observations regarding a child's behavior with families and potential services that could

- Prepares observation and assessment reports and assists with referrals to appropriate resources
- Works with families to support the needs of family and child to align educational strategies to the
- Provides staff and families education regarding mental health and emotional wellness, and
activities/PEER Cards.
- Works with the Head Start program team to coordinate parent workshops to promote active mental
families.
- Participates in assigned meetings, events and training as required.
Non-Essential Duties:
- Performs any and all other duties (or functions) as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred in the field of social work, clinical psychology, or related
- Experience working with children and families in ethnically diverse low-income communities
- Must have CPR and First Aid Certification or required to obtain within the first year.
- Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
- Travel required locally or long-distance (as needed) for work-related meetings and functions.
- Must have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of infant and toddler mental health; experience working in
- Ability to learn Pyramid Model including reliability in TPOT and TPITOS.
- Ability to communicate with parents and community partners effectively; ability to interact
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and commitment to followthrough.
- Ability to maintain a disciplined routine within a fastpaced work environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills, especially using Google Suite apps; spreadsheets,
- Must be honest, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit most of the time with some bending and reaching.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend periodically.
- Ability to engage in repetitive movement of wrists, hands, and fingers typing and/or writing.
- Ability to work frequently at close visual range (i.e. preparing and analyzing data and figures,
- Ability to receive and respond to oral communication.
- Ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move
