Description

We are looking for someone to help continue the growth of our garden center.

General Summary:

Needs to be well versed in Lawn & Garden and ready to answer any questions pertaining to Bug Control, Weed Prevention, Fertilizers and Plant Diseases.

Knowledge of popular brands in the department and the Randy Lemmon Fertilizing Schedule is preferable as well.

Physical Demands:

This position requires constant moving and standing for extended periods of time. May occasionally involve reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. May involve reaching above eye level.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Other Skills:

Ability to collaborate and function as a member of a team. Must possess a strong sense of urgency. Should be comfortable with handling different types of chemicals, such as pesticides and fertilizers.

Working Hours:

Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays, based on company needs.

In short, open availability is a must.

Experience:

Former retail experience is preferred.

Masks are required.
