Overview:
The Associate Clinical Trainer provides training to new and existing customers using classroom and webinar methodologies.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates implementation training for customers (on demand material build or live when needed)
  • Facilitates postonboarding training for customers
  • Supports clinical customer users in establishing best practices through the incorporation of products, linking Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements to product functionality, Assists Implementation Advocate as needed with customer training special needs during the implementation process
  • Facilitates rolebased training using a blended learning approach, combining computer based training (CBT) modules and live webinars
  • Facilitates client onsite training as approved by Inovalon management
  • Facilitates training on basic product functionality
  • Documents training activities in Sales Force according to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Understands and can explain product functionality at an intermediate level
  • Ability to access and utilize Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) resources [i.e., Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) User's Manual]
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for postacute providers
  • Other duties as requested and/or determined
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures, and mission statement
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in nursing healthcare with 2+ years in Long Term Care setting mandatory
  • 2+ years of experience in adult training/education, including webinar facilitation preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working in Long Term Care Billing preferred
  • Ability to remain current with postacute care regulatory requirements
  • Understands the importance of data security and follows processes and regulations
  • Work experience with MDS preferred
  • RAC-CT or willing to obtain
  • Ability to remain current with Long Term Care billing regulations
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and internet browsers/navigation
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and software
  • Experience with clinical software packages and internet environments preferred
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to present for audiences of any size
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong problemsolving skills; statistical analysis strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks; and
  • Selfmotivated, flexible and detail oriented with a positive attitude
  • Ability to explain the difference between PHI and HIPAA

Education:


  • High school diploma or GED
  • LPN or RN required
  • Certified Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT) or willing to obtain

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work ( i.e. sitting for long periods of time)
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions
  • Travel for this position will include less than 15% for training purposes
