We currently have an opening for a Billing Specialists - Full Time - Alliance Healthcare Billing (This is a Remote Position). Day shift and Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:


  • This position is responsible for medical billing and payment posting.
  • Patient demographic entry.
  • Ensure coding including diagnosis and CPT codes are accurate at the time of billing.
  • Verify and reconcile all copays, co insurances, and deductibles daily.
  • Research and resolve any missing charges or data with Imaging Center Managers.
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts with insurance carriers and patients.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a medical biller and collector in an Imaging/Radiology practice.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a medical biller/collector.
  • CPC Coder Certification preferred.
  • Medisoft billing software is a plus.
  • Professional references required.

Knowledge/Skills:


  • Working knowledge of Imaging/Radiology billing practice, CPT codes, and ICD10s.
  • Strong knowledge or payer guidelines and reimbursement policies.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to organize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills.
  • High production goals.

Experience:


  • Medical
Billing Imaging/
Radiology Specialist: 5 years.

  • ICD10 and CPT Coding: 4 years (required)
Medical Billing Imaging: 5 years (required)


Education:


  • High School or equivalent (required)
