QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a
Cost Analyst to join our team at
Fort Belvoir, VA or APG to support our customer,
Project Manager Terrestrial Sensors (PM TS).

This is a remote position, but would need to be local to the APG, MD or Fort Belvoir, VA area for in-person meetings as needed.


Duties:


  • Assist the Government by providing cost analysis and estimating support in developing cost models for estimating program resource requirements and life cycle cost estimates.
  • Provide expertise in analysis of Program Office contracts earned value management data and identify discrepancies, areas of ambiguities, and significant cost variations.
  • Assist the Government in the development of cost estimates for work packages and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) as specified by the Government.
  • Participate in program/budget scheduling and planning activities that involve formulating both broad and specific guidelines for planning program elements and subelements.
  • Prepare recommendations for program objectives, operating schedules, resource requirements, and overall program plans to include DoD mandated documents such as the Cost Analysis Requirements Document (CARD), Program Office Estimates (POEs), and Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs).
  • Participate in program/budget reviews with all levels of the Department of Defense.

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Detailedoriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of DoDI 5000 & Defense Acquisition.

Required Clearance:


  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Qualifications:


  • BA/BS degree in related field required.
  • Eight (8) years of experience as a cost/price analyst.

Travel:

Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.


Work Environment:

This is a remote position, but would need to be local to the APG, MD or Fort Belvoir, VA area for in-person meetings as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. _Travel may occur outside of normal core hours._
