The DIgSILENT GmbH is an independent software and consulting company in the field of electrical power supply for transmission, distribution, generation, and industrial networks, as well as for renewable energy systems.

Our network calculation program PowerFactory, a leading application in the planning and operation of electrical power supply systems, covers the entire range of standard functions to highly complex and demanding applications, including wind power, decentralized generation, real-time simulation, and performance monitoring for network testing and monitoring. Our team provides project support for the simulation of electrical networks and power plants and develops innovative solutions to ensure network stability.

Your responsibilities with us:

  • You will play an active role in the development process of the PowerFactory product
  • You will design and maintain the graphical user interface of our MS-Windows application
  • You will be involved in the entire development process, from analysis and design to specification, implementation, and maintenance
  • You will support our application engineers in customer support

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in (media) computer science (diploma/master or bachelor)
  • Experience in developing user interfaces
  • Sense for good design, usability, and user experience
  • Knowledge of the Qt framework is desirable
  • Proficient in the programming language C++, preferably in MS Visual Studio
