We are seeking a confident Night Auditor to join our dynamic team.

As a Night Auditor, you will checks the front office accounting records for accuracy on a daily basis, summarizes and compiles information for the hotel's financial records.

Tracks room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics. Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day.

Posts room charges and room taxes to guest accounts including guest transactions not posted during the day by the front office cashier.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service and the computer.
• Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift.
• Input into the front office system revenue/expenses/allowances to generate the

daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant
Summary.

• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the

system for next day operations.

• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and procedures for petty cash and or all handling all cash

handling process.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.

Ability to effectively deal with internal and external guest, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.

Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously perform essential job functions. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, guest and patrons.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactory. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Preferred to have at least one year of experience in accounting and or a similar position.

• Will acquire a Criminal Background Check, Drug Testing and E-Verify

Required Experience:

• Preferred one year of experience and or in a similar position.

Required Education:

• High school or equivalent
