The HR Representative will be responsible for a variety of duties including New Employee Orientation, company trainings and maintaining employee records.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with new employee orientation as needed
- Enters initial employee and payroll data into the HR information system
- Maintains accurate and uptodate personnel files, records, and documentation
- Answers basic to intermediate level employee & management questions regarding policies, procedures and benefit programs
- Compiles reports for KPI reporting and to measure HR performance
- Serves as a trusted advisor to employees and managers seeking guidance and support on a variety of business and personal issues
- Maintains confidentiality of records
- Upholds the Company's Mission and Values
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of labor laws and general HR principles
- Two years of experience relevant to the work performed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and general database management
- Experience with learning management systems
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Effective and appropriate written and verbal communication skills in a business environment
- Strong ability to participate in a highly effective team
- Must be capable of possessing sensitive and confidential information and to know when to share such information with the appropriate party
- Knowledge of basic administrative procedures and terminology
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- AA Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred

Work is performed in a typical office setting.
