- Develop tax strategies and plans to minimize the organization's tax liabilities within the legal framework
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including the preparation and submission of accurate and timely tax returns
- Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues, staying informed about changes in tax legislation, and providing guidance and recommendations to management regarding potential impacts on the organization
- Represent the organization during tax audits and managing the relationship with tax authorities
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate tax reporting and disclosures in financial statements
- Experience with partnerships, S-Corp, and individual taxation
- Experience with trust taxation and proficiency with research engines
- Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
- Ability to multitask
