- Prepare and/or review monthly sales tax returns in approximately 30 states.
- Analyze nexus and taxability issues related to our business operations.
- Assist in tax audits and the preparation of federal and state corporate income/franchise tax returns.
- Prepare quarterly estimated income tax payments and apportionment details.
- Manage property and excise tax returns.
- Review tax depreciation calculations and prepare necessary tax schedules/filing forms.
- Contribute to tax planning and research initiatives.
- Advise subsidiaries and affiliates on local tax filing requirements.
- Assist in financial audits and tax provision calculations.
- Conduct account analysis for tax-related accounts.
- Review sales contracts for sales tax planning opportunities and exposure.
- Advise on sales tax implications of various transactions.
- Maintain tax calendar, researching and resolving tax notices and exemption certificates.
- Support unclaimed property filing and research.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Five (5) years of tax experience in public accounting or a multistate Corporate Tax Department.
- Experience in tax return preparation.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Windows software.
- Must be hands-on with good communication skills.

Job Summary:
The Tax Manager will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly sales tax returns across multiple states, assisting with corporate income tax return preparation, conducting tax research and planning, and supporting tax provision activities.
