About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct indepth research and analysis of clean energy policies, grants, incentives, and regulations at federal, state, and local levels to assess the impact on truCurrent projects, identify and evaluate market opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management
  • Develop and maintain a list of relevant government, industry, environmental, and other related working groups and task forces that can further the goals of truCurrent and its customers and engage as needed to drive results
  • Ensure the development and construction of truCurrent projects are compliant with relevant regulations, policies, and funding program requirements
  • Support project development processes including customer engagement and risk management by seamlessly integrating policy insights into project planning and execution
  • Prepare and present comprehensive policy reports and presentations to internal and external audiences, including customers, executive leadership, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate efforts with other internal teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Finance, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, public or environmental policy, political science, or a related field is required
  • A proven track record of monitoring dynamic policy landscapes and delivering actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Private sector, nonprofit, or government experience in transportation is highly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with policy analysis tools
  • Strong analytical, writing, project management, and presentation skills
