    About the Job:
    Eaton's Critical Power Solutions Division is looking for a Field Service Technician to be part of their team dedicated to exceptional customer service.

    This position is based in Des Moines, IA area and involves remote work from a home office nearby.

    Responsibilities:
    Eaton's Critical Power Solutions Division specializes in designing, manufacturing, and servicing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, batteries, and related electronic products to ensure reliable power in challenging environments.

    In this role, you'll handle on-site emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventive maintenance for UPS systems, power distribution units, and batteries. Additionally, you'll offer technical support to customers and act as a consultant for system equipment operation and maintenance.

    Qualifications:
    Required:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in Power Systems, Battery Technologies, or Electronics
    • Valid State Driver's license
    • Ability to meet customer entrance requirements
    • Authorized to work in the US
    Preferred:
    • Associate's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
    • 3 years of experience in Power Systems, Battery Technologies, or Electronics
    • Knowledge of schematic drawings and troubleshooting techniques
    Skills and Success Criteria:
    • Ability to collaborate with team members
    • Physical ability for lifting, standing, climbing, driving, etc.
    • Proficiency with electronic circuit theory and tools
    • Strong communication skills
    • PC Proficiency
    • Willingness to travel
