Your tasks:

  • As a Solution Engineer, you are an expert in electrical automation and control technology from the Festo Experience Center
  • You are responsible for commissioning and optimizing application solutions with a focus on drive technology, either remotely or on-site with customers
  • Software support and troubleshooting by phone, in written form, or on-site are also part of your responsibilities
  • You support in the development of solution concepts and feasibility studies at the Festo Experience Center
  • The development of scalable function blocks and software packages based on Codesys Softmotion is also part of your job
  • As an excellent team player, you are part of the Festo Sales team and support your colleagues in sales with questions about software topics and drive technology, as well as other technical specialists within the Festo network

Your qualifications:

  • Completed studies in mechatronics, software engineering, or training as a state-certified technician with professional experience or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in automation technology
  • Sound knowledge in the field of electrical drive and control technology, especially in Codesys Softmotion; experience with other control platforms desirable (TIA Portal, TwinCat, PC-based, robots, etc.)
  • Knowledge of problem-solving methods
