American National is seeking a Graphic Arts Designer.

This role is responsible for executing the design, layout, and complete production for all new marketing material as well as the maintenance of existing materials.

The main objective of this position is to assist in the creation of cost-effective and innovative graphic designs that align with the standard of excellence for Life and Annuity Distribution.

This role provides a foundation for understanding the design process and offers opportunities for learning and growth within the team.


Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

Employing the preestablished company brand guidelines to create new print and digital, LAD marking content.

Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed in an efficient manner to allow for multiple projects to be in progress at the same time.

Participate in collaborative revision and approval process until final design is approved.
Maintain existing record retention process for all newly created content.

Utilize a project management system to oversee assigned tasks, keep a record of updates to ongoing projects, and stay abreast of upcoming projects.

Maintain organized inventory of all of LAD's current marketing materials and indexing forms for the administration areas.

Bachelor's degree
At least two (2) years of experience in graphic design, media, or web design experience required.
Strong interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Knowledgeable and proficient in Creative Suite, primarily Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Comprehend printing process for all types of media, including proper image prep, file formatting, maximizing efficiency and economy.
