The Grove Hotel is looking for seasonal front desk agents for our 63 room property located in Cherry Grove, NY. We are looking for team-players with great attention to detail and the ability to work in an inclusive environment. $500.00 retention bonus to team members who finish the season.
Hotel Front Desk Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Ascertains their lodging, purchasing needs.
- Assists guests and owners in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate followup as necessary.
- Knows all essential aspects of our hotel operations.
- Registers guests and manages the rooming chart.
- Collects payments by charge payments from customers.
- Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
- Monitors lobby and checkin activity to determine room flow.
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Facilitates correspondence with guests.
- Works collaboratively with any resort associates and resources.
Transportation on the Sayville Ferry will be covered by the hotel.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Prior resort or hotel experience preferred

Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
