Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in their own homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life and help them maintain their independence.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Engage in conversation and provide companionship
  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Skills:


  • Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and provide care with empathy and understanding
  • Patience: Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
  • Dependability: Reliable and punctual attendance is crucial in this role
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and providing physical support to clients as needed
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly on your feet and find solutions to unexpected situations

Requirements:


  • MUST HAVE HHA OR MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN HHA UPON HIRE
  • TB Test/Chest X-Ray (Can obtain upon hire)
  • Live Scan (Can obtain upon hire)
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
  • Able to travel to prospective patient's place of residence
