Responsibilities
*Sales - bikes, accessories, rental and repair services *Customer communications; keeping a positive, consistent, and detail-orientated rapport with customers and clients *Providing support for inventory management in all service-related areas *Providing basic fitting and sizing services for customers *Merchandising store inventory and fixtures *Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all customer-facing areas in the store *Assisting with rental department management, including maintaining, processing, and promoting rental inventory *Providing support to the service department by handling basic repairs, bike building, and service prep *Assisting with social media content creation and curation *Cash wrap duties *On
- and off-site event support *Continued education in a quickly evolving and technology-driven cycling industry *Acting as a representative of EaDo Bike Co at social and cycling events and activities *Acting as steward to the East Downtown neighborhood, the City of Houston, and the cycling community as a whole


Qualifications - Requirements
*Must be available to work weekends *Minimum of 3 full-time years or 5+ part-time years as a sales associate in a professional retail work environment *Proficient in understanding general concepts with modern bicycle components and riding styles; i.e. road riding, commuting, gravel riding, backpacking, hydraulic brakes, suspension technology, e-bike technology, electronic shifting tech, etc *Proficient in using Microsoft and Google software for documentation, as an information resource, and for communication *Self-motivated *Self-sufficient *Efficient time management *Team worker *Organized and clean *Excellent at communicating


Qualifications - Preferred

• 5+ full-time years of retail bicycle shop experience Bicycle retail or fitting certifications, i.e. SBCU, Trek Fit, IBFI, Serotta, etc Experience with Lightspeed or other cloud-based POS service management software
