Position Summary:
As a Caregiver or MedTech, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our residents. You will provide direct care and assistance, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort. We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of seniors.
Key Responsibilities for Caregivers:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Providing companionship, emotional support, and a friendly presence to residents.
- Assisting with meal preparation and serving.
- Supporting residents in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Documenting care provided and reporting changes in residents' conditions.
Key Responsibilities for MedTechs:
- Administering medications to residents according to prescribed schedules.
- Documenting medication administration accurately and maintaining records.
- Monitoring residents for any adverse reactions to medications and reporting to the nursing team.
- Assisting with other caregiving duties when medication administration is not required.
Qualifications for Caregivers:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassion and a genuine desire to help seniors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
Qualifications for MedTechs:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current MedTech certification in the state of California.
- Prior experience in medication administration is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Compassion and a commitment to resident wellbeing.
