Evolved By Nature is seeking a highly skilled and experienced cosmetic formulator who is passionate about innovative formulation and possesses a desire to engage in technical sales. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in formulating skin care products, demonstrating a strong track record of success in developing cutting-edge formulations.

Responsibilities:

Technical Sales:

• Serve as a technical expert and point of contact for clients, providing comprehensive guidance on the application and benefits of skincare formulations containing silk peptide.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and product demonstrations showcasing the innovative features and performance advantages of silk peptide performance.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify customer needs, provide technical support during the sales process, and contribute to the development of tailored skincare solutions that meet client requirements.
• Travel required, estimated at 50%.

Laboratory Functions:

• Manage the development of innovative skincare formulations kits, from concept to end with a particular emphasis on leveraging silk peptides and other advanced ingredients to address diverse skincare needs.
• Conduct in-depth application work to explore the potential benefits and interactions of silk peptides with other ingredients, optimizing formulations for enhanced efficacy and user experience.
• Utilize scientific principles and market insights to drive innovation and differentiation in product formulations, staying ahead of industry trends and consumer preferences.
• Prepare detailed technical reports for project team deliverables.
• Ensure accurate record keeping of all research work, generate progress reports and presentations in a timely manner.
• Participate in routine maintenance of lab equipment and other lab responsibilities, such as ordering of materials and supplies as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of successfully developing and commercializing innovative skincare products, with a strong understanding of formulation principles and ingredient interactions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information and product benefits to diverse audiences.
• Some knowledge of regulatory requirements governing cosmetics, particularly regarding silk peptide formulations.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry or related field
• 10+ years industry experience in formulation or/ raw material application
• Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
