- Fill, pack, wrap, protect, consolidate, and arrange orders according to instructions.
- Safely operate various warehouse equipment in order to assist with moving product.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Ensure shop floor is supplied with required parts and material.
- Assist with cycle counts.
- Record entry of finished products for corresponding warehouse.
- Work with various departments to ensure availability of requested parts and materials.
- Distribute parts and materials to helicopter technicians and production areas as required.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with regulatory requirements, production standards, and Textron Business Conduct guidelines.
- May provide reports and status updates to manager and interested parties as required.
- Basic competence in Logistics computer systems. (ex. MS Office, Visual ERP or Equivalent)
- Demonstrated understanding of basic measurements and measuring equipment.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to wear all required PPE specific to job duties. (may include respiratory equipment)
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and departmental equipment safely and efficiently in order to perform assigned job duties.
- Ability to stand and sit stationary for several hours at a time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to operate computer, to include keyboard, mouse, and software related to job duties.
- Ability to work in environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycles.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Generally, 0-2 years of logistics or related experience.
- 80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)
